We have updated PA-X—welcome to our 9th release!

The PA-X Peace Agreement Database and Dataset contains 2144 peace agreements, found in more than 150 peace processes between 1990 and end of 2024, now with 89 new agreements added in April 2025.

To search, choose options from the filters below. Filtering the data in any way will allow for data files to be downloaded for the filtered subset only.

Please note that PA-X includes agreements from a wider variety of negotiation practices - including some local agreements that are not associated with conflicts in which there have been more than 25 battle-related deaths. These can be excluded from the search if all Agreement/Conflict levels are selected, except for Intrastate/local (other).

Region in which the conflict addressed by the agreement is taking place
 
The country or jurisdiction in which the conflict originated; where the conflict has a territorial element, the entity to which the conflict relates. This is the case for both intrastate agreements in intrastate conflict and for interstate agreements in intrastate conflicts, i.e. 'pure' interstate agreements signed as a result of intrastate negotiations in a conflict.
 
Type of conflict the agreement is addressing.
