5 OF THE PEACE DIALOGUES TABLE BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF COLOMBIA AND THE NATIONAL COORDINATION OF THE BOLIVARIAN ARMY
In the Inda Zabaleta Indigenous Reserve, Tumaco (Nariño), between 22 and 25 May 2025, delegations from the National Government and the National Coordination Committee of the Bolivarian Army met for the session No. 5 of the Peace Dialogues Table, with the following progress:
1. In accordance with the agreements reached in cycle No. 4, the delegations have assigned the roles of guarantors and accompaniers participating in the Peace Dialogues Table (Agreement No. 9), once again expressing their gratitude for their important work in advancing the peace process.
2. The national Government delegation gave a presentation on the general elements it considers fundamental to the development of the roadmap and a timeline for the final agreement.
3. As part of the work of the Technical Subcommission on Territorial Transformations, it was agreed to hold a session at the Inda Zabaleta Indigenous Reserve, Tumaco, on Wednesday, May 28 of this year, under the coordination of the Directorate for the Substitution of Illicit-Use Crops.
4. In developing the thematic agenda, it was decided to move forward with the establishment of the following subcommittees:
• Subcommittee on Victims as a Transformative Social Subject
• Subcommittee on Political Participation and Territorial Peace
• Subcommittee on implementation and verification
The delegations will agree on the date for cycle No. 6, which will take place in the department of Nariño.
